Mommy's a little frustrated tonight. Cooper won't take the bottle. Last night he swallowed 3 ounces in record time, but tonight he's screaming louder than an Arab terrorist forced to listen to rap music in an air conditioned interrogation room at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
On our way to Wendy's for a 99 cent salad and a tub of cholesterol laden fries.

Peaceful Cooper. He's not like that when you give him a bottle of formula.

Benjamin used to go on bottle strikes too... in fact, the kid just hated eating (still does, at 15 months). I never got him to eat more than a 5-ouncer in a sitting, and even THAT was pretty rare. The good news is, it was really easy to wean him OFF the bottle when the time came! Love your website... makes me miss having a tiny baby! Cooper is exactly a year younger than my Benjamin! :)
OH, and I forgot to mention... a few times when Ben would get REALLY upset at the bottle, it turned out to be because the formula wasn't coming out fast enough. If you use Avent, you might want to try going up to the next nipple size. Or if you use one of the other ones, maybe just make the hole a little bigger?
Just a suggestion from my months of trial and error with a fussy eater! ;)
